Swiss Deal Radar ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at swiss-deal-radar.pages.dev and associated Telegram and social media channels. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. TikTok Integration

Swiss Deal Radar integrates with TikTok via the TikTok for Developers platform. When you connect your TikTok account:

We request the user.info.basic scope to read your public profile (open ID, display name, avatar) solely to identify your session.
We request the video.upload scope to upload deal-promotion videos to your TikTok account as drafts for your review and optional posting.
We do not post to your TikTok account without your explicit confirmation of each upload.
We do not store your TikTok access tokens beyond the active session.
TikTok's own Privacy Policy governs all data held by TikTok.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies only on this website — no advertising, profiling, or behavioural tracking cookies. When you click an affiliate link, the destination merchant may set tracking cookies governed by their own privacy policy. We always disclose affiliate links.

6. Data Retention

Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe. Use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us.
TikTok session data: deleted at session end — not persisted.
Anonymised analytics: aggregated data only, retained indefinitely; no individual-level data stored.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and Swiss revFADP you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Rectify inaccurate data.
Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU supervisory authority.

8. International Data Transfers

Swiss Deal Radar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
